Her Name

 

We loved this name long before we ever got pregnant.  After we found out it’s meaning, wisdom, we loved it even more.  All throughout our pregnancy we’ve been praying for wisdom.  We ask for wisdom in how to handle the tough decisions regarding her health, and we ask for wisdom on how to be good parents to her.   We also ask that one day she would have wisdom herself—that her brain would be formed well enough so that she will have her own wisdom one day.

We are still deciding on a middle name, and we’ll probably share that once she is born.  Until then, please remember our sweet Sophia in your prayers.  Perhaps now that she’s more than just “baby girl” it will be easier for you to pray for her.

Once again we want to thank each and every one of you prayer warriors for all the prayers you’ve sent up to our Father on our behalf, and on Sophia’s behalf.  The fact that she’s still kicking and alive inside of me is a testament to God’s grace and mercy, and we thank you taking time out of your day to pray.
