Is it March already? Geesh, February totally flew by!
Here’s the wrap-up of what’s been going on around here this past month.
(Oh, and if you want to catch up on January you can do that here).
The month started off with my posting a breakfast recipe that I whipped up in about 10 minutes. Who would have thought it would become my most viewed post to date?
And since we’re talking about recipes, here is another idea I offered for all you wondering “what’s for dinner tonight?”
I didn’t stay in the kitchen all month, I also dabbled in some crafty/DIY projects:
As a follow up to my quiet book reveal I delivered, as promised, the tutorial and templates so you can make one of these yourself!

I also had the opportunity to guest post at Bella Nest and showed you all how to transform a discarded alley-find into a cheery plant stand.
When I wasn’t busy working in my house, I was busy organizing it! I laid an “Organization Smack Down” on myself and so far have tackled my pantry disaster!
I know I also said I’m tackling my linen closet but I’ve been tackling some nasty strep throat and so it’s been put on hold for a wee bit.)
Wondering what us Ly’s have been up to this month?
We went on a day date in downtown Chicago…
…and had a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
Add in a post with some tips on how to make your blog more memorable and sociable…
…and the announcement of a new series, Trade School, and it was a full month!
PS: Trade School beings next Tuesday! I can’t wait! Our first teachers will be Kelli and Kristi from Lolly Jane Boutique!
And finally,
Adventures of Our Fami-Ly has been blessed to experience some significant growth this month. I just want to say to all of you new members who have joined us:
“Welcome to the Fami_Ly!”
Here’s a big HUG from me to you!

What a great month! I can't wait to see what March brings.
ReplyDeleteWow! You did a lot this month! I wrote on my calendar for Trade School! I'm always up for learning something new. I was born in Chicago....many, many, years ago! LOL! Love all your projects and your inspiration. Have a great weekend! Hope you feel better!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like an incredible month. I was looking back over your projects and thinking I can't believe a month has already gone by.

That breakfast in a cup thing is great. Me and my kids made it this morning and took some pictures. Going to post them on my blog and link back to your original post. It was completly fantastic best breakfast I have had in a long time and pretty simple to make too.

I have come to realize that when I see crafts and deco projects I want to make I don't move nearly as fast on them as I do trying new recipes. Your's look yumm.meee.

Oh! That picture of Chicago just gave me a pang of nostalgia!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I hope it's okay that I pinned your breakfast cups. I've pinned (and made) several similar recipes in the past and if I have yours on my board I'll remember to try it.
Keep up the great work!
:) Elena
I can't believe it is already March! Looks like you had a very busy February. That Valentine's table is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love this post, what a great way to catch me up! Your recipes look so good!
ReplyDeleteGreat to be following you!
